The Swedish Chapter of DiscoverAmerica actively promotes USA tourism through joint promotional activities with committee members.

The purpose is to provide participating members with the ability to use committee resources to increase travel to the USA.

Any bona fide company with programs/services/products promoting US tourism may apply for membership.

News flash
Effective January 12, 2009, all VWP travelers will be required to obtain an electronic travel authorization prior to boarding a carrier to travel by air or sea to the U.S. under the VWP.

What is DiscoverAmerica?
DiscoverAmerica is the brand developed by the Travel Industry Association of America (TIA) in partnership with more than 2,000 leading travel industry organizations, to promote the United States as one of the world's premier tourism destinations.

In the absence of a federally funded national tourism promotion agency, TIA created DiscoverAmerica, the universal brand for the entire U.S. travel and tourism product.
